We started the People’s Budget to give a voice to District 9 residents. The participation in previous years has been fantastic, and we thank everyone who has contributed to this mission. Now that we have seen some normalcy return to our lives, we are reigniting our D9 People's Budget. After reassessing our budget, we are excited to announce more funding for this year's D9PB!
It's exciting to bring this program back to District 9 and look forward to all our community input. If you haven't already, please subscribe to our newsletter and stay up-to-date with this process and all that happens in District 9.
The process will be very similar to past years with three categories for potential projects:
District, Neighborhood, and Community.

The first of its kind for the City of San Antonio. An opportunity for you, the residents of District 9, to make your voice heard.
COVID and City-wide budget concerns unfortunately postponed D9PB but I'm pleased to announce the return of this program. It was a major success in our community and all our voter-approved projects have been completed.
I am very proud that District 9 lead the way for San Antonio with this initiative, and look forward to seeing the results.
Thank you, District 9.
Yours in service,
